We thoroughly enjoyed our 10 day stay at Villa Kiki over Christmas this year! The location, in my opinion, is one of the best on the Island with the Villa located between Andrea I and Andrea II. We are snorkelers, so finding a place where the entry and exit is easy and safe for my 88 year old father was very important and the area directly below Villa Kiki was perfect! We traveled the Island exploring other snorkeling areas but all agreed that the best was right down the steps of Villa Kiki! It is no wonder the dive boats are in and out all day long!
The Villa was clean, comfortable and well stocked. There was plenty of outdoor seating to accommodate sunbathing, lounging, eating, birdwatching...you name it! The pool was cleaned 2x/week while we were there and it was always refreshing and clean! There were plenty of towels..bath and beach, kitchen was well stocked, books to borrow, extra sunscreen and bikes, snorkels, masks, floats, etc. to use if desired. If it was not there..you did not need it!
Karin, the manager, was wonderful! She communicated with us before and during our stay to make sure we did not lack for anything! She decorated the Villa with a small Christmas tree and lights, which was a nice touch as we were there during the holidays. There was a nice welcome bag for us in the bathroom and a bottle of wine, beer and soda in the fridge. I felt very comfortable reaching out to Karin if I needed anything!
We rented our car through Back to Basics, which I would highly recommend! They are a local company and it felt like borrowing your neighbor's car for the holiday! Very relaxed and upfront, and Bas gave us a a few tips on where to snorkel, eat and have fun!
